Art Culture Development Scheme- Today Current Affairs

  • Recently the Ministry of Culture has launched a scheme for financial assistance for the development of Buddhist/Tibetan culture and arts under the “Kala Sanskriti Vikas Yojana (KSVY)”.
  • Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to voluntary Buddhist and Tibetan organizations including monasteries engaged in the promotion and development of Buddhist/Tibetan culture and tradition located in any part of the country. The amount of funding for an organization is Rs 30 lakh per annum.
