UPSC Civil Service Recruitment 2023 Notification

UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) has released the most awaited notification of UPSC CSE. All candidates are requested to carefully read the Rules of Civil Services Examination notified by the Government (Department of Personnel and Training). This Notice of Examination is derived from these Rules. The Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission to all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional, subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. The mere issue of an e-Admit Card to the candidate will not imply that the Commission has finally cleared his/her candidature. The Commission takes up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after the candidate has qualified for the Interview/Personality Test.
UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) has issued the much-anticipated UPSC CSE notice. All applicants are urged to carefully study the Rules of Civil Services Examination, as announced by the Government (Department of Personnel and Training). This Notice of Examination is based on these Rules. Candidates applying for the examination should verify that they meet all eligibility requirements for admission. Their admittance to all test levels will be conditional on meeting the statutory eligibility requirements. Issuing an e-Admit Card to a candidate does not mean that the Commission has approved his or her candidature. Only once the candidate has qualified for the Interview/Personality Test does the Commission begin verifying eligibility requirements using actual documents.

Download Of e-Admit Card For Prelims- The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admit Card will be available on the UPSC website [https://upsconline.nic.in] for downloading by candidates. No Admit Card will be sent by post.

UPSC Eligibility Criteria

Suppose the aspirant intends to take the UPSC CSE. In that case, he or she must have a Bachelor’s degree from one of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956, or from another educational institution established by an Act of Parliament, or have an equivalent qualification.
