The Constitution of India has been translated into Ol Chiki Script for the first time.
Ol Chiki Script, also known as Ol Chemet, Ol Siki, Ol (Ol) and sometimes also as the Santali alphabet, the official writing system for the Santhali and India The Austroasiatic language is recognized as an official regional language in the U.S.

The Constitution of India has special provisions for the development of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and the translation Hembram has been useful in providing readers with a deeper understanding of the laws, powers and fundamental rights of the community. (Hembram is a surname commonly used among Santhal tribesmen).
Tribal scholars often affirm the autonomy and dignity of tribal rights for the development of tribal people by pointing to Article 21 under Schedules V and VI of the Constitution and many consider it to be the foundation of tribal rights.
5th Schedule: It deals with the administration and control of Scheduled Areas as well as Scheduled Tribes residing in any State other than the States of Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura and Mizoram.
6th Schedule: It provides for the administration of tribal areas to protect the rights of tribal population in the states of Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura and Mizoram. This special provision has been provided under Article 244(2) and Article 275(1) of the Constitution.

By the 92nd Constitutional Amendment Act in 2003, Santhali is listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution of India as the official language of India along with Bodo, Dogri and Maithili languages.
Its inclusion in the Eighth Schedule meant that the Government of India was committed to the development of the Santhali language and was obliged to allow the use of the language to students appearing for school level examinations and entrance examinations for public sector jobs.

According to the 2011 Census of India, there are more than 70 lakh Santhali speaking people across the country.
But their geographical distribution is not limited to India, but this community is also spread in Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal.
The largest population of the Santhals is found in the Jharkhand state of India as the largest scheduled tribe, apart from this population is also found in the states of Assam, Tripura, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and West Bengal.

The official languages of the Republic of India are listed in this schedule. Articles 343 to 351 included in Part XVII of the Indian Constitution deal with official languages.

Article 344: Article 344(1) provides for the constitution of a commission by the President at the expiration of five years from the commencement of the Constitution.
Article 351: It provides for the development of the Hindi language so that it can serve as a medium of expression for all the constituents of the mixed culture of India.
However it is worth noting that there is no fixed criteria for inclusion of any language in the Eighth Schedule.

The following 22 languages are included in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution:

Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Odia, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Bodo, Santhali, Maithili and Dogri.
Out of these languages, 14 languages were included at the very beginning of the constitution.
In the year 1967, Sindhi language was included in the Eighth Schedule by the 21st Constitutional Amendment Act.
Konkani, Manipuri and Nepali were included in the year 1992 by the 71st Amendment Act.
Bodo, Dogri, Maithili and Santhali were included in the Eighth Schedule in the year 2003 by the 92nd Constitutional Amendment Act which came into effect from the year 2004.
