  • Atal Bihari Vajpayee was born on December 25, 1924 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh.
  • He did his graduation from Victoria College (now Laxmi Bai College) in Gwalior. After this he did M.A in Political Science from DAV College Kanpur.
  • Initially Atal Bihari Bajpayee was associated with Arya Samaj, then in 1939 he joined Rashtriya Swayam sevak Sangh and became a Pracharak.
