WaterWise Program: H2Ooooh – Today Current Affairs
- On the occasion of World Water Day (22 March), the National Mission for Clean Ganga, UNESCO and other partners launched their initiative “H2Ooooh! – Has released three animation films for the children of India under the “Water Wise Program”.
- These films are based on stories centered on the rescue and conservation of Indian rivers by school students.

UNESCO:

H2Ooooh! Initiative: The Hindu Analysis
- It was jointly launched by UNESCO in July 2021 along with National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) and others.
- H2Ooooh! is a unique program designed for Indian school students from class 1 to 8.
Objective: The Hindu Analysis
- Since its inception, around 31000 students from 53 schools across 18 Indian states are actively engaged with the support of over 400 teachers.
- Its objective is to raise awareness about the limited availability of water, sustainable use, conservation and exploitation etc.
- It enables students to share their own experiences and proposals for protecting the environment.
- Divided into three phases, the project aims at fostering creativity and raising awareness about water conservation and its sustainable use among students aged 6-14 years, by providing training and providing them with animated short films, paintings and story ideas. To encourage submission.
