- More than one-fourth of the world’s wheat is exported by Russia and Ukraine.
- Russia is the world’s largest exporter of wheat, accounting for over 18% of international exports.
- Russia and Ukraine exported more than one-fourth (25.4%) of the world’s wheat in the year 2019.

- Egypt is the largest importer of wheat in the world.
